We’re becoming more polarised as humans across the globe. The divide is getting wider and the stakes are getting higher. The for’s and the against’s are moving further from conciliation and the potential for battle is growing. And dispersed in the land between both sides are organisations, businesses and corporate bodies who are charged with bringing together the diverse. How society is unfolding outside is in contrast to how leaders are having to include inside.

Our differences of opinion are becoming increasingly polarised. You see it in national and local elections, you see it in newspapers and on social media and you see it in war. We are one thing or another. We are red or we are blue. We are this or we are that. We are for you or we are against you.
This polarisation in our communities, societies and countries is so very evident. The anti-woke lobby won the American election and the fascists are gaining footholds right around the globe. Hate speech is on the rise, terrorism makes daily healine-news and elections are won by a whisker.
When I hear of global political leaders meeting on friendly terms, it’s on the basis that they have similar politics views. There’s this sense of ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’, but that’s not really how fascism works, is it? You can’t be an ultranationalist country and friends with another country who’s also an ultranationalist, can you?!
