It’s the last day of October! Happy Halloween 🎃 to all who partake in a little bit of pumpkin at this time of year. What a month October has been! In the middle of the month, I popped over to Prague to join the Woohoo Academy for face-to-face Chief Happiness Officer training. I’ve also been setting up webinars, growing my newsletter following, and promoting The Knowing Self Knowing Others Podcast.

📖 Thoughts and Ideas on Self-Aware Leadership
In October, we explored the Self-Aware Leadership Compass Quiz, which is a free quiz to accompany, The Self-Awareness Superhighway. Complete the self-assessment about yourself then send the quiz to 2-3 other people to complete the assessment about you! Yours scores will help you chart your development map.

We also unpacked mindfulness, one of the simplest ways to get to know yourself better. I was joined by and who shared their experiences and advice about mindfulness and how we can make it a part of your every day work.

👥 Learning and Sharing: Events in October
I was delighted to join the Woohoo Academy for the Chief Happiness Officer training in Prague in October. We talked about the different elements that make up happiness at work: wellbeing, workload, culture, relationships, behaviour, values, beliefs, environment and more. Read about my adventure here
I guested on two podcasts during the month. Firstly I had a teeny-tiny spot on Workplace Geeks following my interview with them at The Watercooler Event in London, April. It’s near the end!
Then I joined the wonderful Steph Caswell on Creating Happy Writers, talking about my book The Self-Awareness Superhighway, and writing journey to self-publishing. Steph was my book coach and helped me structure, write and edit my book.
